Market Season 2011-2012

This season we will be at the Farmers' Market the 3rd Saturday of the month- that's this Saturday, October 15th from 9 am-2 pm. Please come see us! Thanks to the Cottage Food Act we'll have some of our yummy baked goods out again: granola and macarons. This Saturday is also ArtSlam from 3-9 pm in Downtown Bradenton. Don't miss it!

Atomic Holiday Bazaar is next Saturday and Sunday, the 11th and 12th- for details, visit www.atomicholidaybazaar.com. It's 2 days, but Anna and I will only be there Sunday- 12-5:30. Come see us, and buy handcrafted, locally made gifts. It's a good thing to do, and here's why!

'Tis the Season!

Market season began Saturday. It was a glorious day, and a huge crowd made it out! Some of our big sellers at our table this week were headbands and hairclips consigned by Flamingos and Hedgehogs... check out their site: http://www.flamingosandhedgehogs.blogspot.com/, our new stationery made with recycled magazine pages, onesies, booties, and paintchip books. We're excited about handmade dresses consigned by Designs by Nana G. They are beautifully crafted with fun fabrics... I wanted to buy all of them for Hazel and Sara! Market starts again Saturday, October 2nd!

Anna and I are busy creating! We are getting ready for The Downtown Bradenton Farmers' Market (on Old Main Street). The season begins Saturday, October 2nd and goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come see us! As with last season, we will be there the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month October through May.

We're Going Atomic!

We just got news that we got accepted to the Atomic Holiday Bazaar! They had so many applicants, they added a day, so we'll be there Sunday, December 12th from 12-5:30. It's at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium (address: 801 North Tamiami Trail). In the meantime, as we're busy creating, we'll add photos to our blog and give you an idea of the handmade things we'll have at the bazaar.

Our application is in!

Yeah! Anna submitted our application for the 2010 Atomic Holiday Bazaar in Sarasota! Anna and I have gone before, and we both agreed we want to be a part! As they say, "It's not your granny's craft show." Well, it's definitely the most unique show I've attended, and I left with a lot of wonderful, thoughtful handmade gifts. Regardless of whether or not sweet gets in, mark your calendars; you don't want to miss! SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11th 11:00 a.m.

Sara is 1!

One of our many inspirations, Sara, just turned 1 Friday. She loved her birthday party, especially being sung "Happy Birthday," her mini cupcake, her festive party hat, and of course the tissue paper her gifts were wrapped in. Time seems to be going a little faster with her older siblings (and life) keeping us busy, but we are trying to linger in these special moments! Enjoy yours too!
